Abstract

Purpose: A novel nursing education method leveraging movies to impart knowledge and experiences to nursing students is introduced. Cinenurducation enables learners to proactively experience situations, empathize with emotional challenges, and explore solutions to problems. Methods: The nursing metaparadigm and core concepts of cinenurducation were analyzed through the actions and words of the main characters in the movie <The fault in our stars>. Results: Through <The fault in our starts>, learners gain insight into the lives of adolescent pediatric cancer patients, their families and the development of friendships during adolescence. Conclusion: The development and implementation of various cinenurducation programs hold the potential to create engaging, empathetic, and participatory learning experiences. These programs aim to enhance learners’ understanding of health issues and their ability to address problems.
